Our professionals represented Six Flags in a breach of contract action filed in Los Angeles County, California State Court, arising out of an alleged long-term contract and joint venture agreement. Plaintiffs sought $20 million in damages. Our lawyers conducted a two-week jury trial in Los Angeles in March and won a defense verdict finding that no long-term contract existed between the parties. The client thereafter prevailed on post-trial motions for a new trial and judgment notwithstanding the verdict. The matter is now on appeal.
