This live program and webcast will cover a wide variety of legal and accounting issues that arise when a business is split up or wound down. A fictional case study will be used to set the stage for a series of presentations by qualified attorneys and CPAs to discuss the critical aspects that business owners and operators must consider. The premise will be a business in transition experiencing economic challenges, ownership with divergent objectives, questionable and inadequate accounting and legal records. Issues involving securities law, bankruptcy and commercial transactions will come into play with the fictional firm used to enhance the learning experience.
