Jennifer Haskin Will

Special Counsel

Jennifer advises large and small employers in the fields of health care, manufacturing, education, technology, and financial services, including both non-profit and for-profit firms.  Drawing on her past experience as a litigator, she helps employers reduce legal risks and achieve compliance with employment laws while meeting business objectives.  Jennifer advises employers with respect to a wide range of personnel management issues, including wage/hour compliance, disability accommodation, leave administration, policy development, independent contractor classification, and executive employment and separation agreements.

Her representative experience includes:

  • Advising employers with respect to the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) 
  • Assisting employers to conduct internal self-audits of employee wage-and-hour classifications
  • Reviewing and drafting executive employment agreements and separation agreements, leased employee agreements and independent contractor agreements
  • Reviewing and drafting employee handbooks and other personnel policies and procedures, including social media policies and drug testing policies
  • Advising employers with respect to personnel decisions, disability accommodation, leave requests, wage-and-hour issues, discipline, discharge, and drug testing
  • Providing training presentations regarding such topics as the prevention of harassment and discrimination and the adoption of social media policies
