Brandee Caswell litigates complex and high value real estate-related matters. From real estate development and  finance disputes in excess of $75,000,000 to energy corridor projects over 100 miles long, Brandee brings a rare combination of litigation and project management experience to clients of Faegre Baker Daniels.  She is an experienced first–chair trial lawyer who has successfully litigated numerous cases in both state and federal court in numerous jurisdictions including California, Florida, Oklahoma, Texas, and Wyoming.  As a lead member of Faegre Baker Daniels' Corridor Acquisition Practice, Brandee has considerable expertise the acquisition and protection of easements and rights-of-way for utilities and energy companies.  Brandee is also considered an expert on the Federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act and its state analogues.

Her experience includes:

• Representing national and international financial institutions in litigation to enforce financial covenants and protect long-term revenue streams
• Representing utility and pipeline companies in acquiring right-of-way corridor for energy projects
• Litigating sophisticated landlord-tenant disputes on behalf of both national retail tenants and owners including REIT's
• Representing oil and gas companies in multi-million dollar royalty-related litigation
• Representing renewable energy company in lease and easement disputes involving 300 Megawatt wind energy conversion project
• Lead trial and appellate counsel in setting state and national legal precedent under Federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act
• Representing landowners relating to easements, rights-of-way, land use, and procuring entitlements
• Prosecuting suits to enforce stock and asset purchase agreements, recovery under promissory notes and non-compete agreements
• Arbitration and mediation of numerous commercial disputes
• Obtaining and defending against temporary restraining orders and preliminary injunctions in state and federal court
• Engagements as a consulting and testifying expert on the Federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act
