Projects have combined rental and for-sale housing with medical clinics, hotels, libraries, retail and restaurants.

Low-Income Housing Tax Credit

We have been involved with more than 300 low-income housing tax credit transactions (LIHTC) throughout the U.S., working on some of the largest and most complex tax credit transactions.

Historic Redevelopment

Our lawyers focus on creative approaches to historic tax credit transactions and façade easements.

New Markets Tax Credits

We handle complex transactions utilizing new markets tax credits, representing developers, investors and lenders.

Multiple Financing Sources

Combining various financing sources is common in our work. We have represented developers on projects with federal, state and local financing, tax increment, tax abatement, and conventional financing.

HUD

We have experience working with a wide range of HUD programs, including Section 8, HUD-insured loans, Section 202, Section 236, Flex Sub Loans and other programs.

Housing in Indian Country

We have been involved with more LIHTC transactions on Indian land than any other firm in the country.

Bonds

Working closely with our public finance practice, our attorneys represent clients on various types of bond financing, including housing revenue, 501(c)(3) and general obligation bonds.
