Anne P. Zorn

Associate

Anne Zorn is a member of the firm's labor and employment group. She counsels employers regarding a wide variety of employment issues, and defends employers against claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and other related claims.  Anne represents clients in state and federal court, as well as before administrative agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, state and city civil rights departments, and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.

Anne also has experience advising employers about labor-management relations issues, including those that arise during organizing campaigns, collective bargaining, unfair labor practice charges, and the like.   Anne is a contributing editor to The Developing Labor Law.

In 2008, the Minnesota State Bar Association awarded Anne the Outstanding Achievement Award in Labor Law for her work during law school.  Also during law school, Anne was an outside articles editor on Law & Inequality: A Journal of Theory & Practice.  She worked as a research assistant with Professor Stephen Befort, updating his treatise on employment law and practice, and also served as a judicial extern for the Honorable David S. Doty of the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota.

Like other lawyers in the firm's employment group, Anne frequently consults with other group members whose practices are focused differently. This team approach allows Anne and all of the lawyers in the employment group to give expert advice in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
