Brad Dempsey focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation, bankruptcy and real estate litigation, tax litigation and appeals, workouts and debtor-creditor rights litigation. Brad also has experience working with domestic and international clients operating in the wine industry.
Brad has represented numerous national and community banks and other lenders in workouts as well as collection, foreclosure and lender liability litigation matters throughout the United States. In addition, Brad has represented secured creditors, trustees, unsecured creditors, landlords, intellectual property licensors and licensees, vendors and purchasers in complex bankruptcy cases and adversary proceedings in all regions of the United States.
Brad has litigated matters for clients in a wide variety of forums, including state and federal district courts, federal bankruptcy courts, NASD arbitration panels and state administrative panels. He has also obtained an order granting certiorari and successfully argued an appeal before the Colorado Supreme Court.
An active volunteer in the Faculty of Federal Advocates pro bono program, Brad has assisted numerous pro bono clients in obtaining very favorable outcomes in litigation matters.
