Throughout his legal career, Larry Bass has specialized in corporate reorganization and debtor-creditor relations. He has represented numerous debtors, trustees and creditors' committees in Chapter 11 cases, as well as lenders, secured creditors, and purchasers and sellers of assets in bankruptcy proceedings and out-of-court restructurings. He has significant experience in Chapter 11 bankruptcies throughout the nation. Representative engagements include:

• Representation of a major lessee and contract party in the Chrysler Chapter 11 case in New York
• Representation of two major customers and counterparties to swap agreements and energy purchase contracts in the Enron Chapter 11 case in New York
• Representation of the largest "critical vendor" defendant in defense of litigation to recover Court-approved post-petition payments in the Kmart Chapter 11 case in Chicago
• Representation of the purchaser of the debtor's potash assets in the Mississippi Potash Chapter 11 case in Jackson
• Representation of the purchaser of multiple franchise locations in the Colorado Lubrication Chapter 11 case in Denver
• Representation of the largest supplier and reclamation claimant in the Pacific Insulation Chapter 11 case in Los Angeles
• Representation of the Official Creditors' Committee of debtors that owned the Vail and Beaver Creek ski resorts, meat packing plant and multiple television stations in the Gillette Holdings Chapter 11 case in Denver
• Representation as co-counsel to the Official Creditors' Committee in the Schwinn/GT Cycling Chapter 11 case in Denver
• Representation as co-counsel to the Official Creditors' Committee in the Standard Brands Paints Chapter 11 case in Los Angeles
• Representation as co-counsel to the debtors in the Centrix Financial Chapter 11 case in Denver
• Representation of the agent to senior lenders in the out of court restructuring of an industrial construction company

Larry joined Faegre Baker Daniels in 2009. Prior to joining the firm, he practiced in Denver for 10 years, and before that, he practiced for 25 years in California.
