We represent several national insurance associations and are experienced in providing relevant legal advice and advocating for your needs. 

As you attempt to help your members implement recent changes to insurance legislation, we guide you in understanding relevant laws, including the Dodd-Frank Act and the Affordable Care Act. We also conduct 50-state surveys of health and managed care, life/annuity and property/casualty laws and regulations to determine distinctions between states. We monitor and research national and state legislation related to privacy, securities laws, proxy matters, advertising and other issues vital to your members. 

Our state government team partners with FaegreBD Consulting, our federal affairs division in Washington, D.C., to educate and advocate before state and federal legislators and key executive branch officials, including the Federal Insurance Office.

We lobby at the state and federal level, organize industry coalitions, and mobilize grassroots campaigns in support of your agendas. We can help form or manage a political action committee.
