Angie Snavely focuses her practice on corporate transactional matters for public and private companies, including public and private securities offerings, initial public offerings, SEC reporting and other public company matters, equity compensation arrangements, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and general corporate counseling. Angie has represented clients ranging from Fortune 100 companies to small private emerging businesses across a variety of industries.
Prior to joining Faegre Baker Daniels, Angie held various legal and finance positions with a Fortune 100 company. In addition, she was a certified public accountant and internal control specialist with McGladrey & Pullen focusing on external audits and internal control reviews of health care and nonprofit entities.
Angie's recent experience includes:
- Representing Piper Jaffray in its acquisition of Advisory Research, Inc.
- Representing Piper Jaffray in connection with the initial public offering of GenMark Diagnostics, Inc.
- Representing Feltl and Company, Inc. in connection with the initial public offering of Electromed, Inc.
- Serving as company counsel in connection with various shelf registration statements and subsequent takedowns
- Representing Wells Fargo & Company in its monthly offerings of debt securities linked to single stocks, stock indices, exchange-traded funds, currencies, commodities, and other market measures
- Assisting with SEC periodic reporting, preparation of proxy materials, and other matters for a number of public companies, including Ecolab Inc., Target Corporation, The Travelers Companies, Inc., ValueVision Media, Inc., and Xcel Energy Inc.
- Representing an issuer in its monthly offerings of brokered certificates of deposit linked to a variety of stocks, stock indices, exchange-traded funds, currencies, commodities, and other market measures
- Representing several emerging companies in connection with private placements of securities and start-up matters
