Breia Schleuss is an associate in the finance and restructuring practice group.  She represents commercial and investment banks, finance companies, hedge funds and corporations in complex debt financings and other structured finance transactions.  She regularly negotiates syndicated loan transactions and other financings and restructures underperforming loans. 

In addition, Breia represents financial institutions (including depository and non-depository banks and their holding companies) and corporations in connection with mergers and acquisitions and other regulatory matters before the OCC and OTS. 

Breia serves on the Business, Finance and Advisory Committee of WomenVenture, a small business lender.  Breia is also a member of the Board of Directors of Minnesota Women Lawyers (MWL) and is the recent recipient of the Service to MWL Award.

Representative transactions in which Breia has participated include:

• Agent's counsel in a $500 million syndicated secured credit facility for a major airline
• Agent's counsel in a $300 million syndicated credit facility for a worldwide agribusiness and food company
• Agent's counsel in a $495 million syndicated credit facility, secured by real property in multiple states
• Agent's counsel in a $135 million syndicated secured credit facility and a new market tax credit facility
• Agent's counsel for the refinancing of a $120 million senior secured credit facility for a pesticide manufacturer
• Issuing bank's counsel for various payment device processing agreements
• Buyer's and Seller's counsel with respect to branching, mergers and acquisitions and regulatory matters before the OCC and OTS
