Faegre Drinker Achieves Mansfield Certification Plus for Sixth Consecutive Year

Faegre Drinker is proud to have achieved Mansfield Certification Plus, awarded by Diversity Lab. The firm has participated in the Mansfield Rule since its inception in 2017 and has received the “Plus” designation for the past six years.

The Mansfield Certification measures the structural changes and steps the firm has taken over the past year to ensure its paths to leadership – including lateral hiring, client pitch teams, promotions, appointments and more – are open and transparent to all qualified attorneys. Advancement processes and leadership role descriptions at the firm are written, clear and accessible. This high level of transparency is part of a larger effort Faegre Drinker is undertaking through Mansfield to broaden the slate of talent considered for opportunities.

The “Plus” designation indicates that the firm has not only taken steps to increase inclusivity in leadership but has also made measured progress in doing so. Only half of the Mansfield Certified firms achieved this honor this year.

Faegre Drinker holds itself accountable for making progress to diversify the legal profession and build a diverse workforce and has consistently been recognized for its efforts. The firm was selected by Seramount as a “2023 Best Law Firms for Women and Diversity” winner and has also been recognized as a finalist for both The American Lawyer’s 2023 “Legal Services Innovation” award and the Minnesota Technology Association’s 2023 “Outstanding Achievements in Data Analytics” Tekne Award for its customized, real-time automated client diversity and inclusion dashboards.

Faegre Drinker is currently taking part in Mansfield 7.0, which runs through 2024. More information on the Mansfield Certification is available on Diversity Lab’s website.
