Overview

Tamara Criss is a deft strategist who advises clients on complex technology, intellectual property and commercial transactions, as well as data privacy and cybersecurity matters which arise in connection with such transactions.

Tamara has experience drafting and negotiating a wide range of software, information technology, licensing and commercial contracts, including cloud and hosted services agreements; maintenance and support agreements; IP / IT license and development agreements; information security, data processing and data transfer agreements; website terms of use and privacy policies; and other goods and services procurement agreements. Tamara also assists clients with IP, IT and data privacy matters arising from mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and other strategic corporate transactions. Additionally, Tamara has served as a seconded attorney at a global telecommunications company to provide support to the company’s Office of Privacy on a variety of data privacy compliance projects.

Personal Interests

Tamara enjoys birding, creating surrealist art and spending quality time going on new adventures with her loved ones. Tamara is also a former principal violist of an acclaimed New York orchestra who has performed in numerous concerts at Carnegie Hall.
