Faegre Drinker represented the indenture trustee in the restructuring of Andrade Gutierrez in connection with a Brazilian proceeding and U.S. Chapter 15, resulting in a greater return for bondholders. Our team created the structure whereby the bondholders swapped their interests for assets in the liquidating trust.
The matter was interesting because it combined a mix of corporate and securities governance with the structuring and creation of the liquidating trust.
