Joshua Colburn is an associate in the corporate practice at Faegre Baker Daniels. He assists in the representation of several publicly-held companies including Ameriprise Financial, Inc., Bemis Company, Digi International Inc., Hutchinson Technology Incorporated, Hawkins, Inc., Northern Oil and Gas Inc. and XATA corporation.

Josh has assisted in the representation of both buyers and sellers in various mergers & acquisitions, including XATA Corporation in its acquisitions of GeoLogic Solutions, Inc. and Turnpike Global Technologies, Inc. and GovDelivery, Inc. in its acquisition by Internet Consulting Group, Inc. Josh has also worked with public and private companies and underwriters in connection with a variety of debt and equity securities offerings, including registered direct offerings, private placements in public equity, underwritten offerings and bond issuances.

Josh has represented public and private clients in a variety of acquisition, contract, corporate governance, debt and equity financing and securities compliance matters. Josh regularly assists publicly-held clients with preparing public disclosure, including shareholder communications and filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission. He also works with emerging company clients to address various formation, financing and operational matters.

Before joining Faegre Baker Daniels, Josh was a law clerk in the Office of General Counsel at 3M Corporation and a judicial extern at the Minnesota Court of Appeals. Previously, Josh was a private computer consultant providing advisory and technical services to small and mid-sized businesses and nonprofit organizations.
