Lucie Guyot's practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital financings, and general counsel type corporate counseling.
Lucie represents public and private companies as both buyers (institutional as well as strategic) and sellers in mergers and acquisitions and in corporate reorganizations and restructurings. She also represents emerging companies (as issuers) and investors (including private equity firms, venture capital firms and angel investors) in private equity and debt securities offerings from early-stage investments to growth equity. In connection with such representation, Lucie manages due diligence investigations and drafts and negotiates principal and ancillary transaction documents, coordinates deal support from legal subject matter experts, and manages closings.
Lucie also functions as outside general counsel to clients. She advises clients on general corporate matters, including corporate organization and governance, and she drafts and negotiates commercial contracts. Lucie also advises clients on securities law issues.
Lucie has represented clients in a broad range of industries, including technology, software, agricultural products, telecommunications, health care, international franchise, restaurant and marketing services.
Lucie is fully proficient in Czech and is a citizen of the Czech Republic.
