Jessica Faith is an associate in the ERISA, Benefits & Executive Compensation practice at Faegre Baker Daniels.  Jessica counsels employers on the design and administration of 401(k) plans, profit-sharing plans, defined benefit plans, ESOPs, and health and welfare plans.  She is a frequent contributor to the Beyond Health Care Reform Blog, where she writes about the latest health care reform issues affecting employers.

Jessica's representative experience includes:

• Drafting and amending plan and trust documents.
• Writing summary plan descriptions, summaries of material modification, ERISA 204(h) notices, and other employee communications.
• Analyzing benefit claims and qualified domestic relations orders.
• Preparing submissions with the Internal Revenue Service and Department of Labor, including determination letter applications.
• Correcting plan errors through the Employee Plans Compliance Resolution System.
• Advising employers on maintaining compliance with the Internal Revenue Code, ERISA, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA), and related laws.

Prior to joining the firm, Jessica was a law clerk in the Licensing and Administrative Law Division of the Iowa Attorney General's Office.   Jessica was a summer associate at the firm in 2008.  During law school, she was a Managing Editor for the Iowa Law Review.
