Demoya R. Gordon

律师

Demoya Gordon is a member of the Faegre Baker Daniels litigation practice group.

Her experience includes work on cases involving medical device and drug litigation, food litigation, general products liability litigation, and agribusiness litigation.  Demoya has drafted pleadings, briefs, and other legal documents in several cases, taken numerous depositions, and argued dispositive motions. She has also researched and drafted legal memoranda analyzing substantive and procedural issues in several cases, including complex litigation and class action lawsuits.

In addition, Demoya's contributions have helped to attain favorable outcomes for clients, including:

  • Summary judgment briefing that led to the voluntary dismissal of a products liability suit brought against a major pharmaceutical manufacturer
  • Summary judgment briefing that led to settlement of a products liability suit brought against a major pharmaceutical manufacturer
  • Rule 12 briefing that led to the dismissal of a personal injury claim against a religious organization

During law school, Demoya clerked with the National Center for Youth Law in Oakland, California as well as the East Bay Community Law Center in Berkeley, California.
