Trey Roberts is a litigator who has amassed a broad base of diverse product liability, mass tort, commercial, and trusts and estates litigation experience.
Trey has experience across the United States and internationally. Since 2011 alone, he has litigated cases in Texas, California, Delaware and Minnesota involving depositions, witness interviews, investigations and clients in Arizona, California, Colorado, Delaware, Washington, D.C., Florida, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, South Dakota, Texas and Washington, as well as internationally in Austria, Canada, Finland, Germany, Japan, Latvia, Philippines and Russia.
Trey thrives in the courtroom, where he frequently appears in both state and federal courts for motions practice, and has first-chaired multiple trials and dozens of extensive evidentiary hearings. He has also successfully handled such matters on appeal. Trey typically serves as the lead lawyer, but has also played prominent roles on larger trial teams and managed cases on a national scale.
Trusts and Estates Litigation
Trey represents institutional and private trustees, individuals, family offices, family and closely held companies, insurance companies and nonprofit organizations in disputes involving wills, trusts, fiduciaries and charitable gifts that require sophisticated consideration of legal issues, as well as the emotional and personal implications for those involved. He is active in monitoring and assisting with drafting legislation impacting this area of law.
