ABA Annual Meeting 2014 - Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section

On August 8 at 10:30 a.m., Aaron Van Oort of Faegre Baker Daniels will join a panel on "The Privacy Class Action Landscape" at the Annual Meeting of the American Bar Association's Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section. Panelists will discuss the growing number of privacy class actions, ranging from "big data" suits over security breaches, to invasion of privacy claims arising from online behavioral advertising, to the big-dollar settlements under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.

Van Oort will join panelists from the Electronic Privacy Information Center, Thomson Reuters and other law firms for this discussion.
