Construction Super Conference

Pat O'Connor of Faegre Baker Daniels will serve as a panelist at the Construction Super Conference from December 12-14, 2012, in San Francisco. In a morning session on Friday, December 14, O'Connor will participate in "BIM at the Beginning—Using Both the ConsensusDOCS BIM Addendum and the AIA Model Progression Specification to Formulate a Successful BIM Execution Plan."

The moderator will be Rebecca McWilliams, JD, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, Owner, Independent Design, LLC. Historically, law lags behind technology, and in this session, five panelists will share how to catch up with BIM risk management practices using standard contract forms. The session also will:

• Identify BIM-specific contract language in the ConsensusDOCS BIM Addendum
• Illustrate how to apply five levels of model development using the AIA Model Progression Specification
• Explain how and when to create a BIM Execution Plan
