60 Baker & Daniels Attorneys in The Best Lawyers in America 2007

Baker & Daniels LLP is the leader among Indiana law firms with the most Indianapolis and Fort Wayne attorneys named to The Best Lawyers in America® 2007, a national publication that identifies the best attorneys in the country.

Best Lawyers is regarded as the definitive guide to legal excellence in the United States by the legal profession and public. The publication conducts an exhaustive peer-review survey that has been developed and refined for almost 25 years. The listing is based on 18,500 leading lawyers throughout the U.S. who provide more than 1.5 million individual evaluations on the legal abilities of other lawyers in their specialties. Best Lawyers also conducts thousands of extensive telephone interviews with leading lawyers throughout its balloting process.

In all, 60 Baker & Daniels lawyers – 11 more than last year – representing four Indiana locations were recognized in 79 practice areas. Baker & Daniels had the most lawyers listed among Indiana firms in 13 practices, including banking, biotechnology, commercial litigation, corporate, land use and zoning, nonprofit and venture capital law. Fifteen Baker & Daniels attorneys were named Best Lawyers in more than one practice, and 16 lawyers have been named to the list in at least 10 years.
