Mindy A. Westrick has joined Baker & Daniels LLP as a specialist in the firm's government services practice group. She brings experience in legislative and administrative matters to assist clients in responding to opportunities and challenges at all levels of government.
Before joining Baker & Daniels, Westrick was executive assistant in the Marion County Prosecutor's Office. She has assisted a trade association and law firm during Indiana legislative sessions. Westrick also has served as executive assistant to the chairman and executive director of the Indiana Republican Party and governor's intern for the Indiana Gaming Commission.
Westrick, who graduated summa cum laude from the University of Indianapolis, is pursuing a law degree at the Indiana University School of Law in Indianapolis. She participated in the Richard G. Lugar Excellence in Public Services Series during 2006-07 as the youngest local and national member admitted in the program's first 18 years.
With majors in political science and Spanish at the University of Indianapolis, Westrick founded UINDY Lions Club International and was a volunteer with College Mentors for Kids for three years. She currently is a MYKID volunteer at a middle school.
