Baker & Daniels Lawyers Named Best in Client Satisfaction Wealth Managers

Robert W. Elzer, Brant O. Gardner, Dennis P. Lager and Kent A. Rollison have each been recognized as a 2009 FIVE STAR Best in Client Satisfaction Wealth Manager®. All four are lawyers at Baker & Daniels LLP.

Less than seven percent of the wealth managers in the Indianapolis area were chosen by clients and financial services industry professionals as a FIVE STAR: Best in Client Satisfaction Wealth Manager®. Recipients of the honor are being recognized in the October issue of Indianapolis Monthly.

The FIVE STAR award is presented by Crescendo Business Services LLC to assist consumers in selecting a wealth manager who provides exceptional client satisfaction as indicated by other consumers. By mail and phone, Crescendo surveyed more than 92,500 consumers in the Indianapolis area and subscribers of Indianapolis Monthly.

An additional 7,600 surveys were sent to leaders within the financial services industry. Survey recipients were asked to evaluate only wealth managers whom they know through personal experience and evaluate them based on nine criteria: customer service, integrity, knowledge/expertise, communication, value for fee charged, meeting of financial objectives, post-sale service, quality of recommendations and overall satisfaction.

Elzer, Gardner, Lager and Rollison all practice in Baker & Daniels' trusts and estates group. They counsel clients in the preparation, administration and settlement of estate plans, wealth preservation and transfer strategies using trust arrangements, designed asset ownership entities, and tax compliance structures to fully use tax reduction allowances.

As an independent third party, Crescendo Business Services LLC of Minneapolis manages and owns the licensing rights to the FIVE STAR Best in Client Satisfaction program. Crescendo works with city and regional magazines to present the award to professionals in many industries and in many markets. The consumer-based award is limited to less than seven percent of all professionals within a specific industry and market area. For more information, visit
