Faegre & Benson partners Kerry L. Bundy and William L. Killion co-authored a chapter in the 2010 edition of the Franchise Litigation Handbook, a publication from the American Bar Association. The handbook is a practical "how-to" guide for making difficult franchise litigation seem less complex.
Developed for both new and experienced practitioners, the handbook identifies recurring issues in franchise litigation and provides insights into many of the issues that arise in disputes between franchisors and franchisees. In addition to serving as a valuable reference tool, the book shares nuances that come from decades of prosecuting and defending claims.
Bundy and Killion wrote chapter 4 of the handbook, which discusses class actions.
Other topics include:
- Initial pleadings
- Temporary restraining orders and preliminary injunctions
- Motions for summary judgment
Copies of the book can be ordered from the ABA online store.
