Faegre & Benson Receives Highest Ranking from Human Rights Campaign in the 2012 Corporate Equality Index

Faegre & Benson LLP has been recognized as a "Best Place to Work" with a perfect score of 100 percent in the 2012 Corporate Equality Index (CEI) of the Human Rights Campaign (HRC). This marks the sixth time the firm has scored 100 percent on the index. The firm joins 190 total U.S. businesses that received top marks for their treatment of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) employees and consumers.

In 2004, Faegre & Benson became the first law firm in Minnesota to earn a top rating on the index—reinforcing Faegre & Benson's position as a recognized leader in promoting diversity in the legal community.

The CEI rated 850 businesses in total, evaluating LGBT-related policies and practices including non-discrimination policies, transgender health benefits and domestic partner benefits. Faegre & Benson earned the prestigious 100 percent ranking for ensuring LGBT equality in each of the categories evaluated by the survey.
