Faegre & Benson Releases Second Edition of Winning Patent Litigation

Faegre & Benson is pleased to announce publication of the second edition of the casebook Winning Patent Litigation. The casebook, used by Faegre & Benson lawyers David Gross, Jim Poradek, Ted Budd, and Tim Grimsrud in teaching a course on patent litigation at the University of Minnesota Law School, provides a framework for thinking about the strategies necessary to win patent cases.

Each chapter examines important appellate decisions on selected topics of patent litigation and provides examples of cases in which the firm won motions, trials, or appeals in patent cases on behalf of our clients.  Topics include personal jurisdiction, venue, declaratory judgment actions, pretrial conference, sanctions, claim construction, pre-suit damages, damages, enhanced damages, injunctive relief, motions in limine, preclusion orders, jury trials, and consent judgments.
