Faegre & Benson, a leading international law firm with offices in Denver and Boulder, today announced that Patrick Linden has joined its Denver office as Special Counsel in the firm's corporate practice.

"He has deep transactional expertise and his addition will help our growing corporate practice meet the needs of our clients, particularly in the areas of M&A, emerging companies, private equity and venture capital."
In addition to his corporate transactional work, Mr. Linden also will support Faegre & Benson's sports practice group. The firm serves as principal counsel to franchises in all four major U.S. professional sports leagues and represents organizations ranging from governing bodies to facilities and sponsors. A former certified NFL player agent, Mr. Linden advises professional and amateur sports organizations on their corporate governance, sponsorship, and financing activities.
Prior to joining Faegre & Benson, Mr. Linden was a member in the business practice group at Sherman & Howard L.L.C. He was also previously a partner in the corporate and securities practice group at Kamlet Shepherd & Reichert, LLP (now Lathrop & Gage LLP) and an associate in the business practice group at Moye White LLP.Mr. Linden received a J.D. and M.S. in Finance from the University of Denver in 2001. He obtained a B.S. in Business from the University of Denver in 1997. He is a member of the board of directors for the Metro Denver Sports Commission and has served as an adjunct professor in the Master's program of the University of Denver.
