Ken Levinson Honored for Pro Bono Work

The law firm Faegre Baker Daniels LLP is pleased to announce that Kenneth S. Levinson, a partner in the firm's corporate, intellectual property and insurance practices, has received Casa de Esperanza's ¡Adelante Esperanza! award.

Levinson was recognized for his long-standing dedication, leadership and support of Latina communities, as he has provided pro-bono legal counsel to Casa de Esperanza for the past five years. He has served the organization as a reliable and knowledgeable resource, while remaining committed to the mission of ensuring that Casa de Esperanza is equipped to be a strong national and international leader.

"I am extremely honored and humbled to be recognized in this manner," stated Levinson. "In truth, this award represents a commemoration of work done by me and a number of colleagues on a wide variety of pro bono issues that have arisen over the years, and I accept this award on behalf of this entire group."

Casa de Esperanza (literally, "house of hope"), is a nationally recognized battered women's support, counseling, and housing organization headquartered in St. Paul. While the organization specializes in the Latina community, it assists families of all origins and nationalities.

As a partner in the corporate, intellectual property and insurance practices, Levinson holds more than 30 years of tax experience, more than 20 years of aviation experience, and more than 15 years of insurance, captive insurers and risk management experience. He earned his law degree at George Washington University Law School, and LLM(Tax) from Georgetown University Law Center and received his bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
