Benjamin Petre Brings Construction Experience to Faegre Baker Daniels

Faegre Baker Daniels LLP has strengthened its real estate and construction practice with the hiring of Benjamin M. Petre as an associate in the firm's Denver office.

Petre brings seven years of legal experience after graduating from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2005. His expertise includes construction defect litigation, business and commercial litigation, professional liability, insurance coverage and insurance bad faith litigation.

In professional practice, Petre has represented general contractors, subcontractors and design professionals in complex construction defect cases. Additionally, he has managed nearly all aspects of insurance bad faith and professional liability cases involving sensitive fact patterns. His experience includes intense case evaluation, discovery, depositions, motions practice, oral argument, mediation participation and settlement negotiation.

Petre is a member of the Colorado State Bar Association, Denver Bar Association and Colorado Defense Lawyers Association. He earned his bachelor's degree magna cum laude from the University of New Mexico in 2001.
