Former FaegreBD Attorney Appointed National Security Advisor to the Vice President

Faegre Baker Daniels LLP congratulates our former colleague, Jake Sullivan, on his new position as deputy assistant to the president and national security advisor to the vice president. Vice President Biden announced the appointment on Feb. 26, 2013.

Sullivan served as an associate in the Minneapolis office of Faegre Baker Daniels in 2006 after clerking for U.S. Supreme Court Associate Justice Stephen Breyer. He then joined Hillary Clinton's 2008 presidential campaign as deputy policy director, and went on to serve Secretary Clinton in the State Department as deputy chief of staff for policy from 2009-11. Most recently, Sullivan was director of policy planning and deputy chief of staff to Secretary Clinton.
