Honorees were selected based on their professional success and community involvement, and were featured in the March 21 issue of the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal. In its 20th year, the 40 Under 40 award has become highly competitive, with more than 450 nominations submitted this year.
Miske was recognized for his successful practice and experience, including representing Hormel Foods Corporation in its 2013 purchase of Skippy® peanut butter. The transaction won "Deal of the Year" recognition from both the M&A Advisor Awards and the Mergers & Acquisitions' Middle Market Awards, and Hormel won the Association for Corporate Growth – Minnesota (ACG-MN) BOLD Award in the large corporate category. Miske's mergers and acquisitions experience also includes notable deals with clients such as Archer-Daniels-Midland and General Mills.
Outside his practice, Miske has been deeply involved with organizations including ACG-MN, of which he is the 2015 president-elect; the Boy Scouts of America; and the Minnesota Law Review alumni advisory board, which he helped found.
