FaegreBD's Silicon Valley IP Team Expands With Addition of Nick Chan

Nicholas Chan has joined the intellectual property team at Faegre Baker Daniels as an associate. A litigator, he will practice from the firm’s Silicon Valley office.

Chan represents clients in patent, copyright and trademark matters, including infringement, licensing and ownership disputes. His experience includes representing a telecommunications company in a patent infringement case involving DVR technology. Chan joins FaegreBD from Irell & Manella in Los Angeles.

Chan received his law degree from the UCLA School of Law in 2012 and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2009.
