Faegre Baker Daniels partner and co-chair of the finance transactions practice team, David Foster, has been elected a fellow of the American College of Mortgage Attorneys (ACMA).
Formed in 1974, ACMA is the leading organization of counsel in the United States, Canada and the Americas who have been recognized by their peers as distinguished practitioners in the field of mortgage law and real estate finance based on the high caliber of their legal skills, knowledge, experience and professionalism, as well as their commitment to giving back to the legal profession and their communities. Foster provides legal and business counsel to financial institutions, entrepreneurs, corporations and other business entities. He represents commercial lenders and financial institutions in connection with loan origination and documentation (including secured, unsecured and mezzanine lending, and real estate mortgage and construction lending) and UCC issues. He also represents lenders with respect to troubled credits in the areas of bankruptcy, restructurings and workouts, creditors' rights, foreclosure and receivership actions. Foster also represents public and private companies with regard to financial transactions and related business issues.
