Faegre Baker Daniels partner and leader of the firm’s national real estate practice, Diane Davies, has been honored with the University of Illinois College of Law’s “Distinguished Alumni Award.”
Davies was one of three alumni chosen for the honor based on her professional achievements and community leadership and her exceptional leadership through service to the College of Law Community.
Davies’ practice focuses primarily on the areas of real estate titles, commercial real estate sales, leasing and development, and commercial lending. She is a frequent speaker at continuing legal education programs on real estate transactions and titles, and has done pro bono and community service work for numerous organizations in the Denver area, including the Title Standards Committee of the Real Estate Section of the Colorado Bar Association, where she’s co-chair. Davies is also a fellow in the American College of Real Estate Lawyers, and for the past several years, has been named to The Best Lawyers in America and Chambers USA for real estate law.
