Midori Okamoto has joined Faegre Baker Daniels as an associate with the intellectual property group in the firm’s London office.
Okamoto will work out of the firm’s London office, where her substantial international, regulatory and transactional background will be an asset to the IP group’s handling of cross-border mergers and acquisitions, commercial and IP transactions, and related matters. She advises clients in Japan, the U.K. and U.S., with particular expertise in the life sciences and technology industries.
Okamoto joins FaegreBD after working as a technology transactions associate at Morrison & Foerster in Tokyo and, prior to that, a corporate finance associate at O’Melveny & Myers in London. She earned her LLB and a graduate diploma in law from The College of Law. She also earned a master’s degree in molecular medicine and a bachelor’s in biotechnology from Imperial College London.
