Kyle Essley has joined Faegre Baker Daniels as part of the finance and restructuring group in the firm’s Minneapolis office.
Essley is a trial and appellate litigator who represents clients in complex financial and commercial disputes in state and federal courts throughout the country.
Before joining FaegreBD, Essley was an associate at Latham & Watkins, where he worked primarily on securities class actions and environmental litigation matters, drafting motions and briefs, preparing expert witnesses for direct and cross examination, and second-chairing California Energy Commission proceedings. Essley also clerked for the Honorable Steven M. Colloton of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
Essley earned his J.D. with highest distinction from the University of Iowa College of Law. He received a bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics from Kansas State University.
