André Krammer has joined Faegre Baker Daniels as part of the intellectual property group in the firm’s Silicon Valley office.
Krammer is an experienced intellectual property and technology lawyer whose practice focuses on developing and implementing robust and optimal strategies to protect, enforce and utilize a client’s intellectual property assets.
Krammer advises clients across a broad range of technologies including artificial intelligence, wearables, sensors, electronics, semiconductors, cellular telephony, wireless communications, optics, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, financial transactions, database technologies and software.
Before joining FaegreBD, Krammer successfully managed and prosecuted clients’ patent portfolios in the U.S. and foreign jurisdictions, and he represented clients in post-grant and opposition proceeding. He also counseled clients on all aspects of technology licensing and other technology-related commercial transactions.
Krammer earned his J.D. from the Santa Clara University School of Law. Krammer worked as a software engineer and computational scientist at industry-leading companies after he received a doctorate’s degree in physics from the University of Washington. He also holds a master’s degree and bachelor’s degree in physics from the Friedrich-Alexander Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, Germany.
