Overview

Every company entering foreign markets must determine how it will structure and finance its foreign selling and operations. In recent years, "going international" has become a significant and practical way for businesses of all sizes to expand. George Martin of Faegre Baker Daniels will moderate a panel discussion on "Going International: Distribution, Partners, FCPA & More" during The Collaborative Innovation Series at the University of Minnesota.

The panel will look at how to determine the potential for business in overseas markets, how to define and evaluate the market, and what the best methods for distribution are for products. Discussion also will include getting started globally, foreign currency management, transfer prices, FCPA issues, close down/terminations processes and Minnesota trade office support.
