The CLE conference serves the purpose of educating the profession and the public about current and potential new issues in national security that warrant examination. This year's conference includes panels focused on the general counsels from executive agencies, the judiciary, several subject-matters panels and a panel on ethical issues facing lawyers practicing national security law.
Kathleen Rice, counsel for Faegre Baker Daniels, specializes in privacy and data security issues. Prior to joining the firm, Rice was counsel for the U.S. Senate Select Committee on Intelligence. She will participate in the panel, "Cybersecurity — Will We Ever Be Secure?" on Friday, November 7, 2014, at 3:30 p.m.
