Faegre Baker Daniels 2016 Martin Luther King, Jr. Remembrance Event

Dr. King's Dream Envisioned in the 21st Century

Overview

In support of our commitment to diversity and inclusion, Faegre Baker Daniels, along with our community partners, is proud to continue our annual tradition of celebrating and remembering Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and the civil rights movement.

Join us for a presentation on "Dr. King's Dream Envisioned in the 21st Century," featuring Doris L. Pryor, the National Security Unit Chief for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Indiana. Pryor’s experience includes prosecuting domestic and international terrorism, cyber-threat cases, export violations, white collar fraud, trade secret violations, and drug and violent crimes at both the trial and appellate levels.

While achieving professional success, Pryor maintains a unique vantage point as our communities and country have struggled with racial tensions and civil rights. Through volunteerism, youth mentorship and social activism, Pryor demonstrates her creativity and her dynamic approach to leadership and social responsibility. We look forward to the powerful message she will share on the new and heightened relevance of Dr. King's vision against a backdrop of 21st century realities.
