Examining the 2016 Elections: Economic Impacts to Anticipate Nationally and in Illinois

Chicago, IL

The 2016 election results will have broad implications nationally and for the State of Illinois. Please join us for a panel discussion as we look at the potential impacts the 2016 elections will have.

A non-partisan discussion on the national perspective will be led by Mary Bono, a former member of the U.S. House of Representatives and a principal with FaegreBD Consulting, Faegre Baker Daniels’ national advisory and advocacy division in Washington, D.C. Mary is an advisor to the private and public sectors on federal budgetary, legislative and regulatory matters.

On the Illinois side, we expect to have a lively discussion of partisan dignitaries and, time permitting, a question-and-answer period. We are honored to host the following panelists from Illinois state and local government:

Sen. Daniel Biss (D)

Sen. Pamela Althoff (R), Minority Caucus Chair of the Illinois Senate

Rep. Barbara Flynn Currie (D), Majority Leader of the Illinois House of Representatives

Rep. David Harris (R)

The program will be moderated by Barry Nekritz, a Faegre Baker Daniels attorney.

There is no fee to participate.
