T-CAM Roundtable Session One

Fashion, Furniture, Facts and More: The Outer Limits of Copyrightability After Star Athletica v. Varsity Brands

Minneapolis

Overview

Did the Supreme Court broaden copyrightability in this year’s Star Athletica v. Varsity Brands decision? Will there be a surge in copyright claims? Or has the scope of copyright law actually narrowed? In this session, we’ll seek to answer these questions by considering the Star Athletica decision and how it might impact the traditional “edge cases” in copyright law — including fashion design, furniture, factual works and more.
