Faegre & Benson Team to Represent 3M in Renewed Patent Suit

On July 11, 3M Co. relaunched a patent suit in Minnesota against Gojo Industries Inc., Law360 reports. The complaint is the second 3M has filed against the maker of Purell hand sanitizer for violating a patent covering systems and methods of using foamable alcohol compositions. 3M now asserts that, contrary to the affidavit signed by Gojo's president and chief operating officer in response to the initial complaint, the company has continued to use the patented formulations in its hand sanitizer.
