Andrew Humphrey Shares Pro Bono Insights with Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal

The Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal featured the annual Top Law Firms list in its Jan. 23 issue, which included a story about pro bono work at law firms. Andrew Humphrey, managing partner at Faegre Baker Daniels, was quoted, explaining how pro bono work is selected by the firm.

He explained that the firm’s pro bono priorities focus on assisting low-income clients in our communities to address legal issues related to basic needs such as affordable housing, safety for victims of domestic violence, family stability for children, economic security, consumer affairs, and veteran’s disability benefits. Humphrey added that the firm’s pro bono activity extends beyond domestic borders. “We also reach beyond our borders to provide pro bono legal assistance to individuals and nonprofit organizations to help advance human rights and the rule of law in their own countries, through such initiatives as our Africa Advocacy Project,” he said.
