Amy Judge-Prein Profiled in The Law Quadrangle

Amy Judge-Prein, counsel in Faegre Baker Daniels' health care and FDA practice, has extensive experience representing clients on issues relating to the development and marketing of pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and diagnostics. She was recently profiled in the University of Michigan's The Law Quadrangle about trends related to the health care industry, the biggest challenges she faces, and her view on the future of health law.

When asked about challenges faced in health care law, Judge-Prein explained that smaller life sciences companies need to take preventive actions early in their development, but motivating clients to do so can be difficult.

"Ironically, attorneys end up making more money when clients have big compliance issues than we do when we support preventative regulatory compliance work—but I always prefer to help clients prevent the problems wherever possible," she said.
