The Impact of Brexit on Currency

In an article for Global Banking and Finance Review, Faegre Baker Daniels partners Angella Castille and Costanza Russo and trainee solicitor Katherine Newman explained some of the most prominent implications surrounding the U.K.’s recent Brexit decision. The authors wrote about the future of the U.K. economy and how Brexit impacts imports and exports, EU regulations, the free movement of people and changes to commercial contracts.

“As part of the EU, the UK currently benefits from access to the world’s largest single market, with harmonised trading rules across the European Economic Area,” the authors wrote. “Following the UK referendum, the future – and any potential benefits – is uncertain.”
