In addition to his experience as health strategist, Jeffrey is knowledgeable in matters associated with higher education and has worked on issues related to the reauthorization of the Higher Education Act, the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program and loan repayment programs for graduate/professional students.
Government Affairs Experience
A former associate director of policy and professional affairs at the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP), Jeffrey is experienced in establishing and maintaining relationships with federal elected officials, policymakers and stakeholders. In this role, he also devised and implemented strategies to develop grassroots networks of advocates within the academic community on policy topics of interest.
Jeffrey has also gained expertise navigating the federal appropriations process, specifically in matters specific to the Labor, Health and Human Services, Education and Related Agencies appropriations bill. As a government affairs professional, he is also adept at coalition management and strategic social media engagement.
Throughout his time in government affairs, Jeffrey has conducted outreach with federal departments and agencies that include:
- Department of Health and Human Services (HHS)
- National Institutes of Health (NIH)
- Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)
- Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ)
- Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA)
- Department of Education

Jeffrey and his wife Danielle are parents of two boys – both under the age of four. As a family they enjoy participating in engaging activities and exploring different cultures. In addition to time with his family, Jeffrey is an avid sports fan (just not of D.C.-area teams) and enjoys any moment in which he can learn something new.
