Overview
Joel maintains strong relationships with guaranty associations and insurance industry regulators, the insurance industry and guaranty associations. He has served as task force counsel for the National Organization of Life & Health Insurance Guaranty Associations (NOLHGA) on various multi-state insolvencies, represented several guaranty associations and served as counsel to the Insurance Commissioners in Colorado, Hawaii and Arizona in their capacities as liquidators of insolvent insurers.
Personal Interests
Outside of his legal practice, Joel enjoys coaching youth basketball, hiking, biking, yoga and tai chi.
