Overview

Samantha Hultgren is a registered patent agent with the U.S. Patent Office. She assists clients in identification and protection of their inventions through patentability searches and preparation and prosecution of patent applications. She also provides support in evaluation of risk through freedom-to-operate projects. Her practice areas include the mechanical and chemical arts, particularly relating to materials science, chemical processing, and medical devices.

Past Experience

Before joining Faegre Baker Daniels, Samantha worked as an engineer in the pulp and paper industry, where she gained experience working with a variety of chemical processes and technologies.

After working in industry, Samantha enrolled in the Master of Science in Patent Law program at the University of Minnesota Law School to deepen her understanding of patent law and the legal system.
